Must be currently registered with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician Trainee. Required to obtain PTCB or ExCPT certification within 18 months of hire. The cost of the certification examination will be reimbursed upon successful completion.
Candidate must have the availability to work between 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM Monday to Friday. Weekend and holiday rotation required - 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Every 3rd weekend rotation. Holiday rotation - one major, one minor.
Transports medications and supplies to pharmacies, enables partners to perform their duties in an effective manner, and maintains inventory and a clean pharmacy environment.
Essential Functions:
High school diploma or equivalent, required.
Detail oriented.
Six months of previous pharmacy or customer service experience, preferred.
Occasionally: Climb stairs/ladder, Communicable Diseases and/or Pathogens, Interpreting Data, Lifting / Carrying: 21-40 lbs, Lifting / Carrying: 41-60 lbs, Loud Noises, Machinery, Pushing / Pulling: 41-60 lbs, Sitting.
Frequently: Color vision, Computer skills, Decision Making, Flexing/extending of neck, Fume /Gases /Vapors, Lifting / Carrying: 11-20 lbs, Peripheral vision, Problem solving, Pushing / Pulling: 0-25 lbs, Pushing / Pulling: 26-40 lbs, Reaching above shoulder.
Continuously: Audible speech, Bend/twist, Chemicals/Medications, Depth perception, Hand use: grasping, gripping, turning, Hearing acuity, Lifting / Carrying: 0-10 lbs, Repetitive hand/arm use, Seeing Far/near, Squat/kneel, Standing, Walking.
